THE UNITECH DAIRY FARM
Small quantities of milk are processed in batches into consumption milk, cream, butter, cheese, yoghurt and/or other fermented milk products.

Heart of the processing system is the Unitech batch pasteurizer which can also be used as cheese vat, incubation tank and fermentation vessel. The range of Unitech batch pasteurizers
exists in different version, all modularly built and available in volumes of 150, 300, 500 or 1.000 liters.

Around this unit Unitech delivers the A-Z solution, including all peripheral processing equipment required, installation, commissioning and after sales service.

THE UNITECH DAIRY PLANT
Unitech supplies turnkey mini-dairies with capacities of up to 10.000 liters per hour to produce consumption milk, cream, butter, cheese, yoghurt and/or other fermented milk products. Typical installations exist of:

Reception and cooling
The raw milk enters the dairy in cans or by truck. Raw milk should be cooled as quickly as possible to preserve the milk quality. This happens in Unitech milk cooling tanks on the dairy farm, in milk collection centers or in the dairy plant.

Basic treatments

In order to kill all common pathogenic bacteria the milk is pasteurized in a Unitech continuous flow pasteurizer. A separator can be integrated to skim or standardize the fat content of the milk. By connecting a homogenizer, the fat globules become smaller and more dispersed in the milk.

Further processing
The milk is now ready for consumption or can be processed further into fresh or ripened cheese (
Unitech cheese vats, draining vessels, cheese moulds, presses and ripening rooms) or fermented products like set or stirred yoghurt and other locally consumed fermented milk products (Unitech incubation and fermentation tanks). The cream can be freshly packed or, after ripening, further processed into butter (churn).
